1. Overview: Core Performance KPIs
A foundational view for quick leadership analysis. This section features Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Total Users, Sessions, Bounce Rate, Web Conversions, and Average Duration.
A key Trendline allows you to select any metric to trend over time, comparing it directly to the previous year's performance. This immediately highlights growth or drop-in performance to pinpoint the timing and affected metric.
- Sessions by Device is displayed via a donut chart with summary KPIs.
- Performance is broken down by Channel (bar chart) and Country (map chart).
2. Web Content Analysis
Dive deeper into content performance. This tab covers metrics like Page Views, Pages per Session, Pages per User, and Average Session Duration to gauge how users interact with your site content.
Crucially, this information can be filtered by Channel, Page Path, Landing Page, Country, and Event Name to help users quickly investigate specific content performance areas.
3. Engagement: User Action Tracking
Focuses on how users interact beyond page loads. This tab features the Event Counts KPI showing the Event Name and the number of Sessions that have this event.
This view is essential for understanding micro-conversions, scroll depth, video plays, and other key user actions defined in your GA4 property.
4. Conversions: Revenue Generating Events
This tab is dedicated to high-value business outcomes. It analyzes all tracked Conversion Events in your GA4 property.
You can trend those conversion events over time and filter by conversion event name to see individual event performance and understand which goals are being met and when.
5. Channels: Source Performance
Understand where your users are coming from. This tab shows the distribution of sessions by channel and provides trended sessions by Channel for comparative analysis.
It includes main KPIs for each channel such as Sessions, Bounce Rate, Key Events, and Event Value to evaluate marketing efficacy across different sources.
